Founded in 1992 as the first orchestra created with the particular purpose of appraising the Giovan Battista Viotti work, from 1998 the Camerata Ducale Orchestra is the official musical ensemble of the Viotti Festival, the Vercelli concert season that since its early years has confirmed itself as one of the most interesting music events in the national and international scenario. At the Festival has been played a boundless repertoire, from the 16th century to nowadays, with soloists as Lonquich, Faust, Accardo, Lortie, Mintz, Ughi, Spivakov, Maisky, Lucchesini, Igudesman&Joo, Galliano, Pace, Carmignola, Avital and many others.

The Camerata Ducale Orchestra is invited to the most prestigious Italian concert seasons, with tours in Italians and abroad concert halls. To be mentioned the concerts in France, Japan, Guatemala, United States, Bahrain, Georgia and South Africa. Coming up, the Orchestra will play in Trieste (Società dei Concerti), Milan (Serate Musicali), Pordenone (Stagione comunale), Macerata (Stagione Concertistica TLR), Rome (Santa Cecilia). Since 2012 the Camerata Ducale Orchestra has been involved in the Viotti - DECCA Project, with its conductor and violin soloist Guido Rimonda: 15 CDs will come out until 2018. The first two albums gained an unanimous support by both public and critics; the last reward obtained is the 4-stars rating assigned by the distinguished monthly magazine Classic Voice a Violin Concertos No.2. Again with DECCA in November 2013 has came out “Le Violon Noir”, an album focused on mystery music.
